Before your travel, we are providing guidelines for entering Korea and COVID-19 related protocol as below. Please note that if you have a problem or infected with COVID-19, KDA is not responsible for the situation and any incurred disadvantages or expenses as a result will be responsibility of the individual.

Entry to Korea
- As of 8 June, all mandatory quarantine for entry to Korea is lifted regardless of one’s history of vaccination, a type of visa.

As of 3 September, all inbound travelers are exempt from presenting a negative pre-departure COVID-19 test result during entry into Korea.
All travelers are still subjected to take an on-arrival PCR test within 24 hours of arrival. (Rapid Antigen Test is not accepted.)
▶ As of October 1, for entrants to Korea, the mandatory Day-1 PCR test upon arrival is no longer required. You can directly move from the airport to hotel.
From Boarding to Departure
- Step 1 K-ETA (Korea Electronic Travel Authorization)

- K-ETA eligible nationals, who wish to enter visa-free the Republic of Korea, must obtain K-ETA approval before boarding the flight.
- Assessment can take more than 72 hours depending on the situation, so please apply for K-ETA with sufficient time.
- Step 2 Q-Code

- Q-code system is established to shorten the time for quarantine inspection and provide the conveniences overseas entrants require upon entry to the Republic of Korea.
- You can speed up your entry procedure by input your vaccination history or PCR test result to Q-code beforehand.
- Step 3 Arrival and PCR Test

Korean government announced that they will lift the mandatory PCR test after arrival to Korea.
It will be effective from October 1 0:00 and that mean you don’t need to get your PCR test after arrival at Incheon airport.
- You can still get PCR test from either at Incheon Airport COIVD 19 Testing Center or medical institution at your own expense
- Step 4 Departure

- Currently there are no mandatory rule or test before departing from Korea. But please check the entry restriction rules before taking the departure flight from Korea.
General Instructions
- Korea still has a strict rule of ‘Wearing mask’.
- You must wear a mask for “All in-door circumstance”
: inside all buildings, public transportation including subway, taxi, flight, ship, etc.
- You are not required to wear a mask at outside.
