On behalf of the Korean Diabetes Association (KDA), it is our great honor to invite you to the 2022 International Congress of Diabetes and Metabolism (ICDM 2022), which will take place from October 6 to 8, 2022, at the Swiss Grand Hotel in Seoul, Korea.

Since the first ICDM in November 2011, we have been involved in activities to provide a venue for promoting and developing diabetes research not only in Asia but worldwide and fostering fellowship and information exchange among various related professionals. And we are now further expanding our activities as the world's leading association in diabetes and metabolism sectors.

In ICDM 2022 this year, Dr. Jose C. Florez (Harvard University, USA), Dr. Min-Seon Kim (University of Ulsan, Korea), and Dr. Vanita R. Aroda (Brigham & Women's Hospital, USA) will share the latest emerging issues in plenary lectures, and there will be over 40 symposium sessions on diabetes-related topics and presentations on various research ranging from advanced basic research to the latest evidence-based treatment strategies.

We hope ICDM 2022 will provide participants with a perspective of cutting-edge knowledge and facilitate new working networks and collaborations in diabetes care and research.
